Todd Woodbridge: Wimbledon Tennis Champion
I treated Todd Woodbridge during the 2000 Wimbledon championships, when Todd and his doubles partner Mark Woodforde won the men’s doubles for an amazing 6th time since 1993.

Todd regards Sports Massage as an integral part of his training: it helps him stay flexible, maintains muscle balance, identifies potential problems and prevents unnecessary injury and it helps with fine-tuning the body both during training and during tournaments.

Todd also finds the relaxing aspects of massage inordinately helpful in dealing with the extremely high levels of stress associated with competing at this World class level.

Summer Govan: IronMan contestant
"In the long preparation for IronMan Hawaii, it became clear to me how invaluable Andrew Faulkner’s wonderful massage techniques are. The importance of sports massage in my training schedule is that it aids and speeds recovery. After a massage session, there is immediate relief from soreness and inflammation and the next day, I am able to train without that tired muscle feeling.

"Andrew has treated me for an achilles injury and he has been excellent for a post crash and burn scenario. He employs a variety of sports massage techniques and skills: massage, assisted stretching, pressure work and soft tissue release.

"His professional approach and sense of humour in acutely painful situations is greatly appreciated. He understands the demand that running places on the body and gives good practical advice on stretching. I endorse his work wholeheartedly for sports massage enables me to keep going week in week out.

"I won my age group (45-50) at IronMan Switzerland, came 7th in Hawaii and have been training hard for the World Long Course Championships in Denmark 2001. Andrew's massages will enable me to go into the race feeling confident and strong."

Roger Brown: International 3 Day Eventer & Horse Trainer
"I have been actively involved in the equestrian world both as a rider and a trainer since I was a small boy. I won most major 3 day event competitions in Eire and went on to be short-listed for the Montreal Olympics alongside such august competitors as Princess Anne.

"In my early thirties I was sadly diagnosed as having cancer of the right kidney and bladder. After 18 major operations and chemotherapy I found myself being written off by the conventional doctors and was told that my riding career was finished. Never one to be daunted, and showing my characteristic bloody-mindedness (!) I turned to alternative therapies with quite amazing results. Several years later after being treated in a holistically with homeopathic remedies I am still riding and competing regularly and have more fitness and energy than some people half my age!

"Whilst there undeniably a place for conventional treatments, I suppose I am a living testament to the efficacy of alternative therapies. Andrew Faulkner originally started treating me with regular weekly massage to counteract the effects of my exacting and physically punishing schedule However, though the use of healing Andrew has also helped me attain a more 'total health' and has helping me tap into my own inner resources. Andrew has played a key role in maintaining me physically, spiritually and emotionally through this powerful alliance of physical massage therapy and spiritual healing. I am now as determined as ever to move my career still further forward and I hope still be seen competing when I reach the ripe old age of sixty!"

Sigrun Sangvik: Norwegian Champion Marathon Runner
"As an experienced and ambitious road runner and speed walker, competing at county, national and international levels, I have used Andrew in pre & post event situations, as well as receiving treatments on a regular basis throughout my intensive training periods.

"He has proved invaluable in managing and eradicating all my ongoing niggles resultant from the high weekly mileage involved in my training, especially in periods preceding a marathon race. By identifying and treating potentially disastrous muscle imbalances, and treating areas of inflexibility and tension, he has saved me from many a serious setback! He has given me sound training advice, and has been particularly helpful in modifying and expanding my stretching routines to target specific areas of inflexibility. As a therapist he is conscientious, sympathetic and highly accomplished. I can recommend Andrew most warmly."

Shaune Hook: HGV Lorry Driver
“I am Shaune (Aka “Bonehead” to my friends!) I am an HGV Class 2 lorry driver and dray man. As a result of all the heavy driving and lifting involved with my job I developed “tennis elbow”.

"After only 4 visits to Andrew this condition had been improved by almost 100%. This happily meant no more of those painful cortisone injections which previously had been the only course of action offered me by my GP.

"These massage treatments also helped rid me of all my general aches and pains, my stress levels were lowered, and I feel that my whole sense of well-being has been given a substantial boost.

Andrew works in a thoroughly professional way and is well presented, polite and totally positive in his manner. He is patient, and an excellent listener to boot. Thoroughly recommended! ”
